It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

River Levels

The river activities we provide depend very much on the local river levels and the experience of the canoeist or kayaker.  During our main March to November season, river levels are normally at a reasonable level which fluctuates slightly from rain upstream, during these months we aim to run with full operation where ever possible.  Please use the gauge on the left to check the current river levels and contact us the day before your activity to check all river activities are running.

Fun was had by all and we got to see this beautiful part of south Wales. We camped overnight along the way and continued on down the river to Monmouth the next day. Monmouth Canoe Hire were....
  • A group of us decided to hire canoes from Monmouth Canoe hire last spring and despite wet weather we had a great time and thought it was a really good value weekend. The hire company take you with canoes from Monmouth up the Wye where they drop you at a campsite with pub (hint - get to the pub early for food or book!) then you canoe down river back to Monmouth.
