Canoes can be rented from a half day rental - up to a 5 day rental providing the opportunity to explore the whole of the river wye.

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR ESSENTIALS for Summer or Winter:

Wear comfortable clothing (layers) and suitable footwear, waterproof top, bottoms and a sunhat. A change of clothing / shoes / towel is recommended which can be left in the car. Suntan lotion(SPF 25+), bottle of water, snack bar and / or a picnic if required.

It should be remembered that if you get wet while canoeing, the effects of cold or wind are much greater through damp clothing. Likewise in hot weather the sunlight reflected off the river should not be under-estimated. Long sleeves and trousers should be taken even if not initially worn.

Please do not bring any valuables such as expensive cameras, watches or rings as we cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages. Watertight containers are provided for small amounts of personal effects.

We reserve the right to refuse to hire canoes or equipment to any person without giving reasons and for young people under the age of 18 years paddling on their own we do need the parents consent.
