Riverside Camping & Camping Pods @ Dixton Meadows River Wye Monmouth

Stay in our unique riverside field in your own tent or hire one of our deadicated camping pods overlooking the beautiful river Wye. Stop off and rest overnight after a long day canoeing or kayaking. Our purpose built camping pods are located near to Monmouth Canoe hire centre and are a brand new addition for 2021.  The camp meadow provides back to basics survival style camping, offering warm showers at our communal shower block and toilet facilities. The camping pods are great place to get a dry nights sleep whilst experiencing adventures on the river!

We are situated within walking distance Monmouth town offering plenty of places to find a bite to eat and drink before wondering back to your camping pod for the evening. We’re also a stones throw from the River Wye Walk footpath, which provides you an opportunity to explore on foot and experience this area of outstanding natural beauty from another perspective.

We can also offer camping in our environmentally friendly field for small adult groups, families etc. If you are a large group and the field is vacant for the date required please ask for a Bespoke price based on your size group. Please note that only Pre-booked camping pods and camping will be accepted and must be pre- paid for in advance.

Our Riverside Camping Pods

Prices

Camping Pods only prices are £40 per night (sleeps 2)
Camping Pods are discounted to £30 per night  per pod when canoeing with us.
Camping  fees-  £13.00 per person,  £9.00 per child aged 10-17,  £6 per child  (2-9 years) , Dogs: £2.00
Vehicles (cars, campers, trailers): £3.00 per vehicle per day
Campervan/Motorhomes in addition to the above + £5 per van per night

Early check-in/late check-out: £3.00/person
Launch/retrieve Own canoes/kayaks/sup boards : £3 per craft
Large Groups – need to enquire about a Bespoke price
